Rospotrebnadzor fined 5.5 million rubles McDonald’s restaurants in Moscow

MOSCOW, 7 Aug. /Basereporter.com/. Numerous violations of sanitary requirements and technical regulations on food products found in restaurants of McDonald’s chain in Moscow in the second quarter of this year. On Tuesday I reported a press-service of administration of Rospotrebnadzor.

“By results of checks of ZAO “Moscow-McDonald’s” for perpetrators, including legal entity, were issued 107 decisions on sentencing to a fine for total amount of 5 554 900 rubles. ZAO “Moscow-McDonald’s” the instruction on elimination of violations of sanitary requirements and to eliminate violations of requirements of technical regulations”, – stated in the message.

According to the office, manufacturing and warehouse facilities of fast food restaurants was in poor condition, the ventilation was inadequate, there was no germicidal lamps in areas of the formation of ready meals and salads. The experts recorded that in some places was broken the temperature storage mode of products, the principles of labelling and commercial neighborhood. In addition, food “take-out” through the window “Mcexpress” and “drive-thru” has been implemented in the absence declarations of conformity and without the required markings.

Specialists of Rospotrebnadzor also found that workers at some McDonald’s restaurants in Moscow have not passed medical examination and vaccination, and the management has not taken the necessary steps to combat rodents and insects. Been violated environmental, sanitary and epidemiological requirements for dealing with waste.

The laboratory has tested more than 400 images food restaurants for compliance with the requirements of technical regulations of the Customs Union. “Of these, 18 samples did not meet the requirements of normative documents, including 15 samples for microbiological indicators (salads, sandwiches, milkshake, ice cream), three samples – physico-chemical indicators (ice cream and mineral water),” – said the press service.

The Agency sent the test results to the Department of trade and services of Moscow.
