“During the phone conversation, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu continued the exchange of views on the situation in the middle East with emphasis on the problems of the Syrian settlement”, – stated in the message of the Kremlin.
The Prime Minister of Israel on 11 July met with Russian President in Moscow and described this contact as “very important”. Netanyahu said to Putin that the Jewish state opposes any presence of Iran in Syria. In General, in his opinion, Russian-the Israeli negotiations provide an opportunity to improve the safety and level of confidence in the middle East.
On July 17 the President of the United States Donald trump at a working meeting with members of Congress said that Russia, USA and Israel launched an active process of tripartite talks involving Syria and security of the Jewish state.
