“We inform you that the online store www.quelle.ru company LLC “Direct catalogue service” stops accepting orders from 25 July 2018,” – said on the website Quelle. All orders received before this date will be delivered to customers.
A similar message is posted on the website of the online store otto.ru which stopped taking orders on July 17.
Previously, the newspaper “Kommersant” with reference to the General Director of Otto Group Russia Martin Shearer has announced that the Otto Group is planning to close in Russia online shopping of clothes and shoes Quelle and Otto. According to the publication, the company will focus on the marketplace Otto.de for German-speaking countries, not excluding that in the medium term, the platform could reach international level. Thus the Otto Group is not going to withdraw completely from Russia and will continue to develop their brands Bonprix, Witt and eSolutions. eSolutions provides logistics, marketing and IT services to retailers and brands, including Tom Farr, Zarina, Befree and Ralf Ringer.
Otto Group operates in Russia since 1990. Among its assets includes LLC “Direct Catalogue Service” (Otto, Witt, Bonprix), Nadom Group and bought in 2009, Quelle Russia, as well as logistics, “Business Service” and open company “Promopost”, located in Tver.
