The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) of Russia submitted to the government a road map for the development of competition in which, among other things, contains a proposal to require the device makers of smartphones and computers to preinstall them on the Russian software. “By April 2019 in Russia may receive a law requiring manufacturers of smartphones and computers to preinstall on their domestic counterparts browsers, mail, music players and other applications, – it is told in the publication. The initiative provided a road map for the development of competition, which FAS has contributed to the government”.
Producers will also need to provide users with the ability to completely remove pre-installed apps, except for service.
The chief Executive of the Federal law should become the Ministry of communications and the co – managers of the FAS and the Federal service.
