BEIJING, July 28. /Offset. Basereporter.com Nikolai Selishchev/. Preparing the new visa agreement between Russia and China will have three key benefits – the transition to electronic document circulation will allow to almost halve the minimum number of members of the group of tourists and significantly increase the duration of their stay in the territories of the two countries. On Saturday announced Basereporter.com Executive Director of the tourist Association “World without borders” Alexander Agapov.
“As already announced, the Deputy head of the Federal Agency for tourism of the Russian Federation Nikolay Korolev, the text of the new visa agreement close to a final agreement, he said. – First, there will be a transition from paper to electronic documents. This is the most important, as it will significantly simplify the procedure of entry and exit”.
Agamov stressed that due to this change significantly simplified the formalities of a visa-free by organized groups of tourists. “The second important point, if this project is approved, the number of members of the group will be reduced from the current five to three. Because three is a family. This point is extremely important: we expect that it will positively affect the increase in flow, primarily from Russia to China”, – explained the representative of the management of the Association.
According to him, this provides a great opportunity for those living in the border areas of the two States.
“The next moment, which can be traced in this project – increasing the tenure from the present 15 to 21 days. That is, you can now be part of the visa group located on the territory of Russia or China for three weeks in a row. It is also quite a positive step, as Chinese and Russian tourists are much more able to explore, and in addition we anticipate to combine rest with treatment,” added Agamov. He said that for 21 days – the “classic term for sanitary-resort” and in China there is a fairly high demand.
“These are three basic changes that are worth paying special attention, talking about a new version of the current agreement. Of course, in the conditions of preservation of a visa-free regime between the two countries, the updated mechanism travel as part of organized tourist groups seriously will make life easier for travel agencies, tourism bodies, coordination and, of course, by the travelers,” he concluded.
