Accreditation functions of the visa centres will carry out the authorized Federal Executive power at the expense of budget funds.

A bill providing for the mandatory accreditation of visa centers was previously submitted to the Duma. Amendments to the law “On the procedure for exit from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation” prepared by senators Konstantin Kosachev and Oleg Morozov.

Document submitted to the Duma by the end of the summer session, until August 27, the working documents will not be carried out, reported the Association of tour operators of Russia with reference to the words of the lawyer.

According to the Russian Union of travel industry, the implementation of the bill on mandatory accreditation of companies who manage visa application centres, can lead to their closure, as none of the existing operators does not correspond to those listed in the document criteria.
