MOSCOW, July 27. /Basereporter.com/. Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin considers that the rallies will not help in dealing with such complex social issues as the change in the pension legislation.
“When it comes to the discussion of questions of perfection of pension legislation (and it is not only the issues governing the age – the question of future pensions, social assistance to people, employment legislation), we need to discuss these issues. To get away from this discussion is not only wrong, it’s dangerous,” he said. “When we talk about the meetings… in the meetings, and these issues will not solve,” – said Volodin in response to a remark of the leader of the CPRF Gennady Zyuganov on the upcoming rally of the Communists against the government’s draft.
Volodin invited to wonder whether the society existing system, assuming that the answer is negative, because so far not solved the problem of small pensions, the low standard of living. “If that’s all there is why we leave the discussion? Responsibility – a discussion of the most difficult issues. Yes, they will not add popularity, but it is necessary to discuss” – he stressed.
The speaker of the house recalled that in the discussion of the bill on amendments to pension legislation two-month deadline, the project was sent to the regions for feedback. “We believe that we have over the summer to discuss pension legislation… we Have until 24 September adopted amendments, these amendments will analyze, examine, you may come to some solution that will allow you to find in society a consensus,” indicated the head of the chamber. “So let’s go this way, as if to rush from one side to the other, ignoring the more acute and complex topics, this might lead to bad consequences in the economy and in political life”, said Volodin.
