He also urged to increase the share of civilian products manufactured by defense companies. Last year, the average load percentage of the business of civil products was 17.2%, he recalled. Thus, according to the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, by 2025, the figure of civilian products should be at least 30%, and by 2030 at least 50%.
“We have the opportunity in high-tech markets to raise the level of civilian production. We have opportunities in the field of medical technology, transport engineering, energy,” – Borisov said, citing as a positive example of the state Corporation “rostec”, where the average civilian production is 27%.
