MOSCOW, July 30. /Basereporter.com/. Six teams from Vladikavkaz reached the final of the regional competition “Hackathon Caucasus”, where will compete for the prize of 1 million rubles. This was announced Monday in a press-service partner of the contest, Association IPChain (national Clearinghouse transaction processing rights and intellectual property).
For a place in the final, fought eight teams, the participants are from 13 to 46 years. They developed tourist services, applications for “smart” cities and created games. Programmers used augmented reality, proposed solutions for product development in the field of cryptography and cyber security, as well as ideas on distance education.
In the nomination “the Creation of a motivating game to earn internal currency” from iPChain team won NNB-TEAM, also qualified for the finals of the team “Cool title”, “We invented”, “AIST”, TotSamyiSynMaminoyPodrugi and Skills Base.
“In the end we selected six teams, they are difficult to compare, as almost all of them worked with different technologies, but each team managed to successfully defend their projects and create prototypes of products for 48 hours. I’m sure some of which originated on the hackathon projects will be developed after it. We can see this in the finals”, – said General Director of “Aktum” organizer “Hackathon Caucasus” – Oleg Mansurov.
Earlier, at the end of the qualifying rounds in Stavropol, Makhachkala and Grozny was determined 21 finalist team. Another regional stage of the competition will be held in September, the city has not yet been announced. “On the basis of past hackathons, we can confidently say that this competition has revealed a large number of talented, ambitious and outstanding developers. We from the Association IPChain hope “Hackathon Caucasus” to contribute to the global development of intellectual property and will help solve the problem of reliable protection of copyright content in the digital environment,” – said Vice-President of the Association IPChain Brusnikina Valeria.
The final competition will be held in late September. In the competition announced five technological categories: “Internet of things”, “blockchain and FINTECH”, “Augmented and virtual reality,” Big data, “Artificial intelligence and machine learning”.
