“Mail of Russia” will help to reduce the time of shipment from Japan to Europe in two times

MOSCOW, July 31. /Basereporter.com/. “Mail of Russia” in cooperation with “Japan Post” from August begin to carry on the train Vladivostok – Moscow transit postage from Japan to Europe. This is stated in the message of the postal operator.

Further parcels will be delivered to 13 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Finland, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

“Transportation on the territory of Russia will be implemented by private train “Mail of Russia”, daily plying on the route Vladivostok – Moscow”, – stated in the message. Delivery of mail from Japan to Europe by transit through Russia will run on a weekly basis.

It is planned that the partnership of “Mail of Russia” with “Japan Post” will allow to reduce the time of ground shipping from Japan to Europe twice, the report States. “The average delivery time from the places of international postal exchange in Vladivostok, transfer to the postal operator in the destination country will be from 11 to 15 days (including eight days of delivery in its own daily train “Mail of Russia” Vladivostok – Moscow).

“Today, ground shipping from Japan to European countries takes two to three months,” the report States.

“Mail of Russia” and “Japan Post” signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of postal communication in the framework of SPIEF-2018.
