MOSCOW, August 3. /Basereporter.com/. The state Duma will hold parliamentary hearings on improvement of the pension system on 21 August. On Friday told journalists the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
“This decision is caused by the fact that the deputies in the regions are actively discussing this bill with the voters, the relevant Committee is already working with the incoming proposals and amendments for the second reading,” he said.
“On September 24 we set the end date of the collection of amendments. From 27 August to 9 September, the deputies will work in their constituencies. Given the importance of this bill, it would be right fully to discuss it before the start of the fall session,” – said Volodin.
The possibility of carrying out parliamentary hearings, the speaker discussed with the Chairman of the Committee on labor, social policy and veterans ‘ Affairs Yaroslav Nilavum. Volodin said that the heads of all Duma factions have supported the proposal in the event will be attended by MPs, representatives of the Cabinet, civil society institutions, experts.
As reported a source in the state Duma, 7 Aug Volodin will hold a meeting with the deputies and staff of the state Duma, which will be discussed in preparation for the hearings.
